Early Life and Education
George Marinos was born in Wagga Wagga, Australia, on February 1, 1949, to Greek parents Photius Marinosopoulos and Ann Karofilis.
He graduated with honors from the University of New South Wales with a Bachelor of Arts degree in drama.
Acting and Television Career
Marinos rose to fame as Bruno, the Italian brother-in-law of Ted Bulpitt, in the Australian comedy television series "Kingswood Country." He also hosted "Late Night Legends" on the Australian Broadcasting Corporation's digital channel ABC2.
In the late 1970s, he co-hosted the radio show "Double Jay" (now known as "Triple J") with Ted Robinson.
